I was born a patriot, with military blood flowing deep into my lineage. From my courageous Pennsylvania National Guardsman Dad, Marv, to his twin brother who bravely served in Vietnam, to both of my heroic Grandfathers who fought in WWII, I have always been inherently aware of the honorable dedication of my family to the United States Military, and I am proud to be an American! I am steadfast and unwavering in my support of our fearless and dedicated military to our Great Country. I have made it my personal mission to be an actively engaged community leader and volunteer. Serving as VP of Community Partnership for the AUSA, combined with my role as President of the Parent Teacher Organization for my children’s school, I work to build the bridge of support and compassion between the military community and the local community - starting in our classrooms. Seeing a growing need for military support right in my own backyard - I created the Sunflowers for Soldiers Foundation as my boots on the ground unique way of growing public awareness and military appreciation by representing the organization throughout Monmouth County - to warmly welcome home, appreciate and honor our military and our beloved United States Veterans. God Bless America!
