I was born a patriot, with military blood flowing deep into my lineage. From my courageous Pennsylvania National Guardsman Dad, Marv, to his twin brother, my Uncle Mason, who bravely served in Vietnam and was bestowed a Purple Heart Medal, to both of my heroic Grandfathers who fought in WWII, I have always been inherently aware of the honorable dedication of my family to the United States Military. I am so proud to be an American! I am steadfast and unwavering in my support of our fearless military, dedicated to protecting to our Great Nation. I have made it my personal mission to be an actively engaged community leader and volunteer. Serving as VP of Community Partnership for the AUSA, combined with my former role as President of the Parent Teacher Organization for my children’s school, I work tirelessly to build the bridge of support and compassion between the military community and the local community - starting in our classrooms. Seeing a growing need for military support right in my own backyard - I created the Sunflowers for Soldiers Organization as my "boots on the ground" personal way of growing public awareness and military appreciation by representing my organization throughout Monmouth County and the great state of New Jersey - to warmly welcome home and appreciate our brave Military and honor our beloved United States Veterans.

Meagan formed this organization with one goal in mind - to warmly respect and honor our military!
